Eileen's Bakes & Brews

I had a look very cup of tea and a slice of cake here. The sitting area is limited and a bit dark for the readers. The team are lovely mature ladies - kind and caring. Prices are very reasonable. There is ambient paid parking across the road and a beautiful river view behind the car parking lot.

Lovely place stumbled on by hazard. Home made sourdough sandwiches using a home starter and lovely looking homemade cakes and treats. Little outdoor sitting protected by a barrier from the street / road which catches the sun nicely. Inside has tables and didn’t feel rushed. A little warm in the heat but still bearable. The ladies running it were perfectly friendly a delight to order from and be served by. Look forward to coming back in during the week!

Great little spot, service was super friendly and fast, Sausage Sandwich for me and Ham and cheese for my wife with 2 coffees, price was reasonable and the food was great and plentiful. Not in Lexlip very much anymore but when I am this is a great regular stop to grab a bite to eat. Very little street parking but there is a paid lot on the other side of the street a few buildings down towards lucan in the back.

The Jam and coconut sponge should be reported. I just can’t stop eating it, it’s so yummy!! Coffee is fab, Eileen is awesome and I love the music and vibe. Definitely my favourite coffee house!

On a visit to Leixlip last year we called into Eileen’s and were immediately impressed by the warmth of the welcome we received. Great coffee, (l travel in Europe a great deal and know my coffee) food was freshly made on the premises and was delicious. A fantastic choice of cake, freshly baked are highly recommended. When it came to pay, there were six in our party, we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost. We enjoyed ourselves so much we were able to visit Leixlip again this year and made sure we started our day with a trip to Eileen’s once again enjoying the same quality of choice and service.
